Very clear recording. Lacks a little on the bass side, especially a song like Spanish Moon, so boost bass when you play that one. (A Little Feat song, one of my all time favorites.)
Better of the two recordings of this show!

This recording captures the sound experience of the evening. This was an amazing night at The Independent for a home town crowd. Sold out show, electricity in the air, and the band brought it. Highlights of the evening had to be the "Mountian Air" that kicked the night into high gear. There was really no stopping this band once they set in their groove and I swear I saw each one of them grow an inch during the first set.
The acoustic set featured another side of New Monsoon rarely seen. The 2nd set included Martin Fierro making a firery appearance on saxaphone. The whole show stands up. This recording showcases many of the unique sounds New Monsoon has to offer. I highly recommend this recording. Dr. NO and Dr. Bob had their sound roles dialed in. This recording is far superior to the SBD.
